Upholstery and Cladding material

E-Leather is a lightweight, durable and easy to maintain material that is engineered specifically for upholstering bus and coach seating to deliver a unique look throughout the whole interior. Depending on your requirements, we also provide the option to provide a colour match, allowing you to select any colour and a selection of grains to complement your corporate branding.

SL9

Our primary material, suitable for a diverse range of uses in upholstery and cladding.  Engineered to meet the latest fire regulations R118.02, as well as CRIB 5 flammability. This product is frequently used for mass-transportation seating due to its light weight, longevity and wipe-clean quality.

SL2

SL2 is a popular product choice for many commercial upholstery applications where there is no specific requirement for fire retardancy, however, the material does meet R118.01 Certification.

SL2i

As desirable as our SL2 material, but specially formulated to meet Transport for London(TfL) upholstery specification.

All materials for bus and coach use meet EC95/28 and meet whole vehicle type approval R118

As well as boasting an array of economical, technical and performance benefits, E-Leather is also available in any colour with a diverse selection of grains, allowing you the opportunity to create a bespoke product to complement your unique brand.*

Detail design features that are ever growing in popularity are embossing, perforation, semi-perforation, embroidery, contrast stitch, piping and varying stitch size. Through a select combination, you can further customise your E-Leather product to produce a design that is subtly individual.

Seating for buses is moving on from the days of moquette and traditional leather which marks, stains and looks tired very quickly. More and more of today’s public transport companies are after easy to maintain seating material that is robust enough to stand up to the daily rigours of transporting thousands of passengers whilst being attractive and affordable.

E-Leather fulfils this need perfectly. Manufactured using leather off-cuts that would otherwise end up in landfill, it reduces the costs both environmentally and economically of producing upholstery material.

Fabric

Unlike fabric, E-Leather only needs an occasional wipe to maintain a lasting appearance and hygienic seating. Choose E-Leather to reduce maintenance time, reduce regular cleaning, eliminate frequent deep cleaning and replacement of covers.

Traditional Leather

A seat upholstered with E-Leather can weigh around 2lb (900g) less than the same seat upholstered in traditional leather, with clear fuel burn savings.
