ELeather has been selected as the 2015 Barclays Social Innovation Award winner from this year’s Tech Track 100 companies.  The award, sponsored by Barclays, is presented to the company which has devised the most effective, efficient or sustainable solution to a social problem affecting people, society or the environment.

Representing ELeather at the ceremony was our Chairman, Ian Boyce, and Chief Financial Officer, John Kennedy, who said:

“We are honoured to be recognised by industry experts, peers and customers for our innovative material and commitment to sustainable upcycling of our planet’s resources.

“Our material saves weight, time and money for customers, so makes sound business sense for all involved.”

The ELeather approach to upcycling waste leather into high-performance material has addressed a serious social issue and created a tangible impact on reducing landfill waste, CO2 emissions and cutting our customers’ costs.
