Newport Transport have launched five new Enviro 400 double-deck buses, demonstrating their dedication towards providing an efficient and friendly service that can be accessed by all – with particular emphasis on introducing technology that aids those with a visual or hearing impairment. The £1.3 million fleet investment is part of Newport Travel’s “dedication to its customers to provide safe and comfortable bus travel”.
The buses feature seats upholstered in two shades of contrasting green E‑Leather for easy recognition for those with a visual impairment. Newport Transport is also proud to boast the audio and visual destination technology that has been installed in the new fleet.
